Get your money right.
Most people only find out what their return was worth after it is filed. We would rather show you the options before that, and file a return you understand.

01
Who this is for
If your income comes on a W-2, start here.
A simple return should be quick and cheap. A complicated one should be explained. Both happen in the same office.
W-2 employees
One job or five. We reconcile every W-2 and check the credits people most often miss.
Families
Dependants, childcare, education credits and the filing status that actually costs you least.
Homeowners
Mortgage interest, property taxes and the Michigan homestead property tax credit.
Students and retirees
Tuition credits, Social Security, pensions and retirement distributions.
Multiple-income households
Two earners, side income, a rental — returns with more than one moving part.
Anybody behind
Unfiled years, letters from the IRS or Treasury, and returns that need amending.

How it works
Four steps, start to filed.
01
Book
Pick a time, or walk in on a Saturday. Tell us roughly what your year looked like.
02
Bring
Your documents and photo ID. The checklist below is what most people need.
03
Review
We prepare the return and walk you through it before anything is filed.
04
Sign and file
You sign, we file electronically, and you leave with a copy.
03
What to bring
What to bring.
Missing one document is the single most common reason a return takes two visits instead of one.
- Photo ID for you and your spouse
- Social Security cards or numbers for everyone on the return
- All W-2s and any 1099s
- Last year's tax return, if you have it
- Mortgage interest (1098) and property tax bills
- Childcare provider details and amounts paid
- Tuition statements (1098-T) and student loan interest (1098-E)
- Bank routing and account number for direct deposit
Not sure whether something counts? Bring it. It is faster to set a document aside than to go home for it.
